I have been a regular customer of Agway for years never having an issue until recently. I want to buy dog food for my dog and my parents dog, but they were out. This was right after the 4th of July. So, no big deal, we placed a special order, and I filled out the slip myself for 2 large bags and were told it would be 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called to check on the order. The guy that answered put me on hold to check. When he came vack he said he wasn't sure if the order was placed and the special order guy left for the day. He said he'd call me back the next day to let me know. I left my cell number with him. 2 days went by still nothing so I called again. Same thing, don't know if the order was placed we'll call you tomorrow. 3 days went by nothing again. Now I'm frustrated so I called Saturday morning and asked to speak to the manager. She was pleasant enough as I explained what's been going on. She put me on hold and came back to let me know the food had been there for a week. She didn't know what the mix up was and she was sorry. She said the order was back logged which is why it was longer than 2 weeks. I told her what upset me most was no call backs and lack of communication. When we got off the phone I let my mother know the dogs good was in. She was out running errands so she and my father offered to pick it up. When they got there the cashier asked if she was the one that spoke to the manager.... weird greeting right? She said no but she was here to get the order. The cashier offered to get the manager but my mom so no need. The manager came out anyways with 2 order forms saying that they left me a message and when I called to check on the order they placed it again because they had assumed I didn't want it. As "proof" she showed my mom 2 order forms... this is the part that disgusts me.... to cover themselves they changed the 3's in my number to 8's. My mom said it was obvious someone wrote over the number. If you recall, I filled out the slip myself.. I don't have any 8's in my number and I wouldn't have done yhat....We either way both times I called to check on the order I left my number again. I think I would go back if they so blatantly didn't try to hide the error. Falsifying the order form seriously?? I wasn't even mad then, I was frustrated... oh well, I guess my family and I will go elsewhere to a reputable business

Bought dog food. Was disappointed to find out not included on their card plan, buy ten get one free. Need to put taste of the wild on the plan.

Ok had great deal on cat food, staff freindly and polite.

Friendly and helpful staff. I prefer Agway over the big box stores , for garden/lawn supplies
