My dealer plate was stolen off my car last nite and once I realized it this morning I called the police station. Spoke with and officer there who told me some one would be in contact with me. About 10 minutes later I recieved a call from Officer Rochette. She was such a great person to deal with! She had informed me that my entire neighborhood was hit and that she has been working on our neighborhood all day with getting answers. What was nice about that conversation was that i did not even ask about what they were doing about it. She brought it up to me! She gave me everything I need for the police report and was super friendly! Thank you again Officer Rochette for your help!
I've dealt with the Southington Police twice since moving here in Feb. They are beyond incompetant and are unapologetic about how lazy they are.
In the early part of October of this year, I was assaulted by another motorist after he cut me off in traffic. I reported the incident to Officer Semard of the Southington Police Department. Imagine my surprise when I found that Officer Semard lied on the official report and failed to arrest the person who assaulted me. This is the kind of Police Corruption that has plagued Connecticut for decades. It is why we are referred to as "Corrupticut" by people living inside and outside of this state. I strongly advise anyone who makes a complaint to ask for another Officer if they are forced to deal with Officer Semard as he is NOT honest.
Today during road construction a fat, overly-aggressive cop flagged me down to talk to me about my driving. (I posted the photo of a traffic at the Dunkin he ignored to yell at me). Next time, instead if finding an outlet for your anger, just write me a ticket and do your job. I told him to leave me alone. I wish he had written me a ticket so I would have gotten his name.
I live near the Police Station in Southington and they always speed by my house 50-60 mph on Old Turnpike Road, where the speed limit is 25-30 residential area. These police are disgusting. I will take a video and post it next.
His opinion of my driving was erroneous; I haven't had an accident in 3 years. He was just looking for someone to yell at.
