Just want to say that we purchased a fireplace surround a few days ago from Superior Stoves on Meriden-Waterbury Rd. Jay took care of us. He was very pleasant, very friendly, and he called us when he said he would. We commend him for his great service and expertise. KUDOS to Superior Stoves.
Horrible Customer Service!!! Never again will I purchase anything from this place. Called for a technical issue, Sharon the "customer service rep" was rude and not helpful. In fact, she created more stress. I spent $3,000 on a pellet system, $250 to get the system serviced in July and can't even get someone pleasant on the phone to help us with our issue in time of need. Jay and his team in Sales are great; after that.......good luck.
Very expensive ... but great service
Service? In our opinion it's, again, superior. The fireplace insert/gas log set/marble surround installation was professional and thorough. We had to have Superior come back to install a new metal mantel (first one was scratched from the factory and not Superior's fault) and the service department was very professional and courteous, allowing us to pick an installation date convenient for us. The servicemen were professional, courteous and brought drop clothes to keep our floor clean. They even drilled the holes in the metal mantel outside to ensure we didn't get metal shavings on the floor.
So in closing, I highly recommend Superior Fireplace. I would definitely use them again in the future. Many thanks to all of the wonderful people at Superior Fireplace that we had the pleasure of working with.

Let me first start with the fireplace insert/gas log/marble surround package that we had installed. What a superior experience, pun intended. Jay, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions completely. He helped us choose the best fireplace insert for our needs. The installation was very professionally done and my wife and I have used the fireplace pretty much every night. What a delight! And the added warmth from the fan (even at low speed) makes our family room feel comfy and so warm.
