Went in for an excruciating pain in my wrist. Dr Spar spent no more than 5 minutes with me, everything in his office was an antique, including himself. Shot me with cortisone in the injured area and sent me on my way. Two weeks pass and the pain is back 10 fold, I call for a follow up, takes two weeks to get me in, which I understand they are busy, that's fine. Then they call me two days before my appointment, cancelling for "weather". Just a little snow. I even let that slide, then finally, I asked what they planned to do for treatment, is it time for an MRI? Maybe physical therapy? No. Another cortisone shot is "all they can do". In summary, if you're looking for actual treatment, and equipment not dated before the 1960's, Dr Ira Spar is not your guy.

Fell down a few stairs earlier this week and injured my right foot. I called Dr. Spar's office, as I have seen in the past and always been very satisfied. He was able to X-ray my foot and we could see the results immediately. Dr. Spar is a great doctor and I will miss him if and when he retires.
