So today I went to go get paint. There were two women at the paint counter. Instead of helping us they were talking about the 23 year old man the woman with tattoos on her left arm had met... they reluctantly helped us, then went back to yapping at each other. I guess there was no work to do...
Your representative at the front door with tattoos and green hair should try to acknowledge customers. Say good morning, hello, someone will be right with you or something. Walked by me 4 times while im waiting at the return desk. A different representative took care of me and was excellent. Next issue, no cashiers. 8 people trying to checkout and all thats available is self checkout. Love your store 100 times more tgan HD. I drive from Waterbury to come to your facility. Driving by 2 HD.
Waited 1/2 hr for someone to assist me. Staff is absolutely clueless. There is a female running lawn and garden who knows nothing about the Equiprment for sale. There are people standing around shooting the breeze while customers are waiting for some assistance. Place is an absolute joke. Don't shop here unless you know exactly what you need and exactly where to find it.
I visited the customer service a few nights ago to return a wrong size of an item that my boyfriend had purchased. The staff (young lady) was completely rude and unprofessional. She had an attitude with absolutely everything that came out of my mouth. I began by asking how her day was and I got ignored. When I asked where I could find the correct size, I had to repeat myself because she was too busy talking to one of her male coworkers. Not only was she extremely unprofessional, but also completely clueless. I will not be returning to this store again. When I left the customer service desk I looked at her name tag which was "Carissa".
My absolute favorite Lowes for sure! Since store manager Patrick took over this store around 6 months ago it has really turned around. The cleanliness of the store is immaculate. Everything is where it belongs which makes shopping a breeze. The staff is great too especially Jo, she always has a smile on her face and is always ready and able to assist. I do miss Patrick over at my everyday Lowes in Wallingford, but their loss is southington's gain.
